The abroad!

We were addressed over the mic that we'd be landing any minute now
My heart rate increased, I began sweating profusely, ahhhhhh so finally finally
And in 3, 2, 1 we had landed oh.
Father Lord, is this it? So this is the abroad?
I specifically chose the window seat so that nothing would escape me.

As I disembarked from the plane, straightway I started rolling on the ground thanking my Almighty for escaping Buhari.
I heard one oyibo man saying 'Ma'am are you alright?'
That's how I opened eyes to tell him yes, only to find myself back in my bedroom in Naija.

So all the snow I saw and oyibo I was greeting, was all a dream?
Just when I thought I had escaped!

I started kabashing hot hot prayers

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it. They smile and tell you 'Don't worry, he/she is friendly and loves to play' Then they pause with their dog and wait for you to rub the dog. It's considered impolite and somewhat rude when you don't.
