Rush me!!!

Too many tubes were connected it looked like a mind boggling web with Jenny in the middle lying on the hospital bed

A single tear rolled down her face as she said
'Mummy please pray for me
I'm tired and I'm loosing my mind
I never in my wildest dreams envisaged that my life would turn out this way
I'm truly truly tired'

My mum and I listened as she poured out her heart in nothing short of painful pictures

It would be a disservice to Jenny if she were to be described with words
She was indeed beautiful through and through
With such a magnetic personality and charisma
As the first daughter the pressure began to mount when she clocked 28years and by the time she clocked 30 years, she was ready to say the solemn vows to any man

Three months into her relationship with Kendrick she knew he wasn't the man she wanted but she chose to go ahead when he proposed. At least she'd shut people up from asking endless questions and give her parents the bragging right due them

One year into the marriage as she lay sobbing on the hospital bed, Jenny was nothing but the shadow of the woman she used to be. Depression and high blood pressure had made a mockery of her.
Her marriage left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. There was no love between them, no communication, their dreams, goals and beliefs didn't align, so, it went from one fracas to another.

Why the sudden rush to say 'i do?'
Society's pressure doesn't end there
It goes on to 'when will you have kids?'
'Why not four kids?
'You mean you have just girls?  Better give your husband a male child oh'... 
It never stops.

The irony of it all is that there'd come a time when you'd long for those single days
Live your life to the best and fullest
Live to please you and your maker
Live life and marry because you found the right one and because you chose to
So that when you look back tomorrow it wouldn't be with the eyes of regret.

Bingo on the lose

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it.
