Aunty Laura: Hello 

Ehis:  Good afternoon Aunty, it's Ehis on the line

Aunty Laura: Ohhhhh Ehis! How are you? How are your parents and siblings?

Ehis: Everyone is doing well Ma

Aunty Laura: Heard you just finished serving how was service and what are you up to now?

Ehis: Yes Ma, service was good.

Actually Ma that's part of why I was calling.

Aunty Laura: ok, go on.

Ehis: Ma I was hoping to come spend some time with your family in Lagos to see if I can find something to do. At most 1 month Aunty. I already asked for my parents consent before calling you.

Aunty Laura: That's not a problem at all. You're always welcomed to our house. One month is not a bad idea. I'll call your Mum as well. Keep me posted on the day you'd love to come.

And that was how Ehis landed in Lagos

Ehis was Aunty Laura's nephew and spent a couple of holidays as a child with her family and kids so it wasn't much of an issue when he called to spend some time in Lagos upon completion of his NYSC.

Aunty Laura and her husband were big time business people so they had the money

Ehis had his own flat in the BQ and a car was given to him for his stay. He was on top of the world, like, this was the life he dreamt of

He had access to lots of things as 2 of Aunty Laura's 3 kids were abroad except for the last born who stayed back and was in the university. That automatically meant almost everything was at Ehis's disposal

For the one month of he stay, he did whatever he pleased, never went out of his way to do anything, his justification being that there were persons employed for everything in the house but he never failed to eat and eat and use whatever he wanted

Although no one complained, but by the end of his stay, the whole house heaved a sigh of relieve

To say Ehis conducted himself without self control and discipline would be an understatement.

To his thinking, this was a one-time opportunity for him so he decided to make the most of it and live the life.

One year and eight months since he left, Aunty Laura's number has no more been reachable not to even mention another visit.
