Nigeria my country!

All day I've been trying to pen down my emotions but...
My heart bleeds for my country and her people
No, we're not talking about the crazy hike in prices of goods and services 
Businesses shutting down or threatening to do so
Police brutality raging stronger
Almost all uniformed sectors are harassing the citizens one way or the other
Let's not mention the rate of unemployment, static salaries
Ahaaa, how about the massive migration of our youths, labour force, best brains
How about investors pulling out?
The upsurge in crime, ritual killings and the likes

So many agencies set up in the name of security or checking corruption
Kangaroo setup all unleashing and perpetuating wickedness on the helpless masses

The bane of utmost concern right now is how the blood of the citizens are flowing daily on the altar of banditry with the lackadaisical attitude of our leaders

No sector is left negatively untouched
It seems like the government is on an all out mission to not only kill and frustrate the people but to bring the country to a complete shutdown 

I'd reiterate my opinion once again that we as a people are yet to understand the power we have and until we wake up and take our stand and chase out these devils in the name of leaders the lives and destinies of our children, spouses, siblings, parents, relatives would always be traded 
It's long overdue for us to rise up and start demanding for better

Bingo on the lose

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it. They smile and tell you 'Don't worry, he/she is friendly and loves to play' Then they pause with their dog and wait for you to rub the dog. It's considered impolite and somewhat rude when you don't.
