Do you know who I am?

'Sir, can you come over to our office. I just saw the last list for payment and I couldn't find your name'
That was a secretary calling hubby. Many persons lost the opportunity, but this call right here got hubby to rectify why his name wasn't shortlisted and he got paid

Reminds me of the story of a man who was bidding for a job in a firm. Long story short, he not only was rude to the junior office staffs, but he was arrogantly so.
At one time a secretary in the office asked what he had come for, he simply gave a sarcastic laugh, told her his business was above her pay grade and gave her #1000 for her troubles. He was so confident because one of the very senior staffs was his friend
Unfortunately for him, the secretary he addressed was the one the Boss gave the duty of going through the various bids submitted for the contract and shortlist those who qualified for it. And that's how Oga/Sir lost out on the contract.

Treating people nicely is key that can open doors like magic.
I've seen this work for hubby countless number of times
Does it always have to be in the form of giving money? No
Treating people nicely, with courtesy and respect can be it
That Driver, the Doorman, Cleaner, Shop attendant, Secretary, Nanny, Household staffs, Security....
You say they're not up to your standard? But you never can tell that simple actions from those people who you believe are not in your class can help save your life, give you that contract or be the link to that thing you long have been looking for.

Even when there's no physical gain, it costs nothing to be nice to those around us
Irrespective of age, class, size, race...
