'Government for the people?'

Different political parties have successfully conducted their primaries and this period has been revelatory to the kind of financial deals that goes behind closed doors.

Through the help of social media we've heard of funny situations surrounding the primaries. A candidate had gone to grease the palms of all the politician(delegates) with the hopes that he'd be voted for as their candidate. Upon the announcement of results, he got only four votes; ohhhhh he fainted!
Another candidate lost the primaries and resorted to the use of local hunters and vigilante to recover his money bribes from the politicians he gave to and has so far recovered 100million.

Is the government coming in really for the people?
Are the candidates truly having the interests of the people as their motivation?
The manifestos state beautiful things but their actions speaks otherwise.
We cry over the market woman selling votes for pennies just to feed, what then can be said for the those at the top selling out for the bag ghana must go? Is it a result of hunger or selfish interests?

Soon, the decision would be up to you and i.
