`Mummy don't worry about the cooking today. I'll handle everything' my younger sister said.
You know about the yearly Christmas cooking and the usual ups and downs that goes with it.
Mum was always in charge of the cooking while the other girls at home assisted. This year however, Dad traveled, we had the freedom to run the kitchen however we wanted and we were literally in heaven.
We couldn't wait to start churning out delicacies. My younger sis got us all hooked and awaiting the delicious fried rice she told us has become her new specialty.
We had helped in cleaning and making ready all the ingredients needed and all our tummies were rumbling in anticipation.
Few hours later, we were served rice pudding labeled as fried rice.
Overcooked, soaked in oil as we couldn't decide if it was soaked or fried for heaven's sake but we had to smile.
The minute she retired for the night, it became a behivee of activities. Noooo, after experiencing such horrible emotional and physical roller coaster it was only fair if nobody lifted a finger.
We did our best to swallow down the concotion in the form of fried rice but God help us, by the end of the afternoon, we were begging Mum to make us a meal.
😂😂😂😂
From that day onwards, we never let our sister anywhere near the kitchen.
hahahahahahahahaha
