It's not in their place!

Was about having a conversation with a nursing mum today. Immediately, her baby cried and she quickly ran into her house to tend to the child. This brought back loads pf memories of how i used to be that mum running around with a crying baby and all the accompanying stress. I just told the man beside me 'i'm glad for the two kids i've got and i can't imagine myself doing this all over again'.
With a baffled look on his face, he began schooling me on why i should never say that again, why i needed more kids and besides hubby got me a very big car. Who would occupy all those spaces in it? None of these reasons included how he'd help me in nursing and catering for the kids in the event that i had more.

This is the same way members of the society pressure people into doing things.
'Madam na only boys, boys you get try again make you born girl na'
'Why do you want to leave the marriage? Is it just small beating and cheating? Stay and fight for your home. Besides, what will people say?'
'You mean you want to quit the relationship because of just little lies? Mtwwww you're not yet ready'.

There would always be a people out there with cogent reasons why whatever choice you've made is not the right one.
Know what you want
Do what works for you.
Don't let society pressure you into a box where you'd end up with failures or regrets.
