Sharp practices.

Hubby and i decided to have something light for dinner, so we walked to one of the stores around our house whose owner we considered our customer, to get what we wanted.
Surprisingly, he inflated the prices of everything we purchased without giving it a second thought and all the while he kept going on and  on about how prices of things has gone up in the market but because we were his customers he was selling to us at a discounted rate.

This reminds me of some other day i went to the market to get something for my kids. The lady i went to buy from grossly inflated the price so i chose not to buy from her.
While walking away she began discussing with her neighbour and told her in Igbo language that i refused the inflated price she gave me and i'm even holding a car key.

It's too bad that we are crying about how foul things are but we are however,  the greatest problems to ourselves. Prying on each other like vultures, yet we're still crying about how bad things are. All of these sharp practices just revolve around, only to come back to hurt us.

May we be better people to those around us.
