It had been a very long day at work. I still had some leftover work to do

My mind ached again as it had for days whenever i remember i had other chores to do once i got home.

Being worn out was not reason enough

Not having cash didn't stop one.

Mum taught us that there was no reason good enough for you to be caught unfresh, one must always appear clean and sharp.

So, exhausted, sleepy and all, the foundational voice was ringing in my ears always such that the minute i step into an untidy space, i begin loosing my mind until the place is cleaned up.

This cleanliness was one beautiful learning experience.

As a single, one had the energy, but marriage came with the blessing of having one's spouse step in whenever one couldn't.
