Bad Boss

There's been so much emphasis on mental health yet alot of people still ignore it for reasons best known to them.

Ever been in a work environment that was suffocating or better still, toxic?

Read a Banker lady's story, where her Boss was a mighty definition of everything toxic. Been heavily pregnant and due any minute, her Boss kept her working full time up until she went into labour. She went straight to the hospital from the office and birthed her baby. She missed work the following day of course with genuine reasons but her Boss issued her a query for her absence as she didn't give a formal notice.

How about the Boss whose every word was criticism, harassment and more of it's kind. There was nothing his staffs did that ever was right. A friend of mine worked under such and came home every other day with a hurting story or in tears.

Why subject yourself to such continuous torture? 

Ohhhhhhh, there's no job in Nigeria you know,

This is my only source of income, or

I can handle it, I'll be fine.

Well Dear, you can't handle it and you're settling yourself up for a slow death.
