THE SECRET!

For everything in life, there are set of principles or guidelines that surrounds it.
These instructions help in getting things done effectively, efficiently, timeously with less risks or mistakes.

Everything is guided by a set(s) of rules. The same goes with life.
To come out tops in life, we don't just bulldoze our way through because if we do, we may get injured, may hurt others, may not even get to that place we have set as target.

One of the principles guiding easy growth is the 'Honour code' .
How do you treat those who have attained that position you dream to achieve?
How do you treat those who you know are knowledgeable in the thing you want?
How do you treat people in general?

Well, the story goes of a young man who had graduated for years without a job. He got wind of a job opportunity in an oil company and he began frequenting the company with the hopes of getting the job.
One day, he came to the company as usual. This time he stumbled upon an elderly cleaner who fell down as he walked past. The young man took it upon himself to not only help this elderly woman stand but he helped her clean and went further to get her something to eat.

In the course of their interaction, he disclosed his reason for being in the company and this elderly woman asked for his CV.
Guess what? She took his CV straight to the General Manager's office and place it in his file. He automatically got to job and the rest is better left to our imaginations.

Ohhhhhhhh, the honour code doesn't just end with those whom we feel are up there or those who look good.

Another story goes about a certain lady who was hubby's classmate who came to his place of work. In excitement he greeted her, had a little chit-chat then proceeded to ask why she was there.
He gave him a good, long, hard sarcastic laugh and told him her reason for coming was way above his pay grade and left.
She actually came looking for a job and guess who was in charge of the employment process? No other but Hubby.
You already know how it ended for her.

Learn to give honour to those around you. It can open doors for you. From referrals and recommendations to ease and other graces.
