N869 billion! To count the remaining days of our lives?

N869billion or cowries?

It was a very shocking thing to today to hear the federal 'gunmen' of Nigeria say it needs N869billion to conduct census.

They are nothing short of gunmen because they've stolen almost every and anything imaginable without shame, conscience, remorse or any form of accountability.

They've stolen so much from the masses. From their votes, to resources meant for projects that would better the lives of citizens.

How does one explain a snake swallowing billions?

Then another time, it was reportedly monkey that stole billions as well.

For this government, nothing can be shocking as well as impossible.

N869billion to count what? How many Nigerians do we have? If 1million Naira were to be shared to every Nigerian, we'd still have enough change left.

I can't help but wonder how the mind of our politicians work.

The common man can barely eat as the prices of everything in the market has trippled, yet salaries has remained the same, some have even had theirs withheld for months, running into years and even those who tried demanding an increment were forcefully shut up.

It's a shame what we have today in the name of government.

It is safe to say that the present government is out for the blood of her citizens.

There's huge awareness in the air and thankfully the people are waking up to the power they have. 

Come this weekend, we will be given the opportunity to make a difference.

Let's vote these blood suckers out and bring in credible and purpose driven leaders who have visions that would better the lives of Nigerians and Nigeria.
