Wrong reason!
It was a normal routine to hear them fight and argue but this time around it sounded really dangerous and chaotic.
We ran out of course to know what was going on and it was a crazy sight.
The woman had broken her man's windscreen tv, anything her hands could find. She was like a person possessed and even with intervention from neighbours, at some point she picked up a knife to stab her man.
He promptly ran away and no one heard from him again.
Long story short, they began dating and few months into the relationship, she got pregnant.
He decided to do the honourable thing by going to collect the marriage list.
Just few months in and she began to display crazy.
The young developed cold feet.
Their baby arrived and she became even more aggressive.
Who would get married to such?
Few weeks after running for his life, the lady took to Facebook to sell off his properties.
I've always said it that getting pregnant for a man or getting a lady pregnant is no criteria for settling into marriage.
That is a faulty foundation that would crumble in a matter of time.
I know of the lady who got pregnant for a guy, she decided to play smart and went straight to his family.
The man was the only son and his Dad was late. Given the circumstances, the Mum took it upon herself to employ every means possible to get the lady married to her son.
They succeeded in getting the man to marry the lady but that was the beginning of the end.
He practically had kids by her almost every year.
After the third child, he told his Mum he had given her the grandchildren she wanted so badly, he worked, got his visa and relocated abroad.
It's over 6 years and he's yet to show his face in Nigeria even once.
Before you choose to go into that marriage, be very sure you're doing it for the right reasons.
Trying to get a man or woman tied down because of pregnancy never ends well.
