EGO ABROAD!

All thanks to God for his faithfulness, my family and I were opportuned to relocate abroad.
How it happened was a big miracle and story for another day.
Three months after we're still trying to adjust.
From one government registration to another
Trying to find a house
Trying to get the kids registered in school
Trying to fend for ourselves
Insurance
Find Doctor...
The list is endless.

Somehow the wind of news started circulating and people who barely spoke to me early are now always in my inbox 
How did you do it?
I'm planning to relocate as well
What should I study?
And most of all, it's the so many messages with conversations that culmates into 'please give me money' without recourse to how one is surviving.

The general believe is that once you're abroad, your money is endless
But it's not true
I'm here and I see people doing several jobs, taking calls, running up and down just to get the basics.
The beautiful thing about working abroad and getting your money after tax is that you can never be hungry if you're prudent with your spendings and the system is designed to give you the best care.

So let me just give out this secret for free
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, before you send that 'give me money' message you just typed to your loved one that has barely touched down in 'The abroad', just know that he's trying to fix himself and it would take the minimum of a year or two before they'd start having free cash.

Bingo on the lose

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it. They smile and tell you 'Don't worry, he/she is friendly and loves to play' Then they pause with their dog and wait for you to rub the dog. It's considered impolite and somewhat rude when you don't.
