GRATITUDE!
Somebody will say 'Chi, why flogging this matter again?'
And I say 'Why won't I?'
In this tough economy, hubby and I decided to forgo something's and sent the money designated for them to somebody to help meet their needs. It's been two days and were yet to get a simple 'THANK YOU'.
Some will say 'Ehhhhhh you're feeling bad because you had expectations when you were giving'.
Of course I should have an expectation of gratitude/appreciation from someone I'm rendering help to.
Gratitude never goes out of style
It's a powerful tool that unlocks doors and even greater doors when properly applied.
Even school kids are taught that there are magic words, ranging from please, sorry and down to thank you how much more adults.
The thing is if a person has a mindset of entitlement, they'd never see your givings as a sacrifice.
They believe they've earned it and so, ought to have it.
This key is a very important one to learn: GRATITUDE CAN NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE!
