Taking care of you?

I grew up in a home where we shared everything. From the biscuit to the noodles and all so it was alien to me when I just got married and hubby gave me a special bottle of fine to drink alone. HOW?

Hubby goes out, buys things and I'm wondering why he's spending all that.
I learnt hardwork and not slowing down for anything from my Dad
Then hubby came and taught me to take care of me.
I could give anything to invest and I don't mind loosing it all but to take out a tiny fraction to treat myself felt like a taboo.

I have an Aunt whose husband was once a commissioner. As at the time, they had crazy money but my family always looked better dressed than hers for no reason at all.
Some persons will slave and save, money would be sitting in the account but they'd never buy simple things like blender, washing machine, electric kettle, how dare you then mention car!
Some can't even change their wardrobes!

In as much as you're saving, investing, running here and there with projects, remember that you matter oh.
Take care of yourself.
If you can afford the means to make your life easier PLEASE INVEST IN IT!!!!

Bingo on the lose

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it. They smile and tell you 'Don't worry, he/she is friendly and loves to play' Then they pause with their dog and wait for you to rub the dog. It's considered impolite and somewhat rude when you don't.
