GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY?
Yesterday, in reply to a post on Instagram I stated that Cubana Chief priest will plead not guilty and will be granted bail. The case may drag for a year or two and he will be discharged and acquitted.
Today, it played out.
No, it's not prophecy.
Nigerians who have been lamenting and have been casting aspersions on the government for sending Bob risky to prison are simply ignorant of the law. Those who are even asking if he is the only one abusing the Naira can only be described as being mischievous.... okay, maybe they're just a little bit ignorant.
Once you plead GUILTY to a charge, the case is over and the next is sentencing. The law doesn't care how you or anyone feels about it.
When Bob Risky went to court and plead guilty he basically sealed his fate to whatever the law states the punishment should be, whether fine or jail time or both at the discretion of the judge.
Now, the burden of proof is on the prosecution. EFCC has to establish beyond reasonable doubts that what Cubana Chief Priest was spraying was ACTUALLY money and not what Looks Like Naira.... I wonder how they can establish that based on video evidence alone.
When he is discharged and acquitted don't say he gave bribe.... don't join the ignorant bandwagon. Learn the Laws of the land.
