Happy children's day

For we in Nigeria, today is a day of celebration.
Today, we celebrate one of life's most precious gifts; OUR CHILDREN!

One day, I was exhausted from the hyperactivity of our kids. 
Chasing
Cleaning
Adjudicating
Feeding
With other accompanying house chores. I wanted peace, quiet and some semblance of sanity so the minute hubby got back home from work, I downloaded everything on him and went on to tell him how I missed my single years and our early days of marriage.

Well, hubby as is his nature, listened toe patiently, comforted me and began to tell me about some friends who didn't have kids, with their pristine clean homes but would give anything to have my supposed 'noisy and dirty home'.

This post is not to open the wounds of those searching and praying for kids but to show how important they are to our lives.
Children bring warmth
Children make the home complete
Children are the driving forces behind almost everything we do
Any yes, our lives would be a boring cycle without them warming our hearts and taking over our legacies.

For those hopefully praying for the miracle of children, you will surely receive it.

Bingo on the lose

My people, I was taking my daughter to school when I heard sounds of feet behind me and a man making a call signal. I turned to see what was going on, only to find a correct dog right behind me. Hmmmmmm my mouth opened on its own accord, next thing I knew, doors were flying open because the way my screaming pierced the air, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! The man started apologizing profusely, saying the dog just took off the minute he opened his door. And everyone went into their rooms as per, normal occurrence. Since I set foot in the Dublin, I think dogs are dragging numbers with humans. Everywhere you turn, someone has a dog and you need to see how protective they are about it. They smile and tell you 'Don't worry, he/she is friendly and loves to play' Then they pause with their dog and wait for you to rub the dog. It's considered impolite and somewhat rude when you don't.
