Tick, Tick, Tick.
Let's forget the narrative of pressure and forcing someone into marriage for a second and think about what makes people lose our in this marriage thing.
I know of a lady who cut off a wonderful and promising guy she was for a long time when it was time for marriage. Her reason was that they didn't belong to the same church.
She eventually married someone from her church and her fellow church member is doing a great job of putting her in misery.
Guess who she always calls to unburden to? The guy she rejected.
How about the ones that will say you're not in their class?
There's also another set that their family members have been doing puck and choose for since 1842 and yet they're still in the market shopping for a suitable spouse.
It's either the Mum says they're not spiritually compatible
Or the siblings would find a supposed fault.
Did you see the case of Engr Cole from the Cole family of Victoria Island?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
What of ones the person in question is the picky one?
My hubby spec was fair and slim. Well he ended up with a dark, and chubby brown sugar and we couldn't be happier we got married to each other.
My brother and my sister, the summary of my write up is, when choosing that spouse, find things that truly count, like ideologies, how much peace they give, their morals and core values, background... You get the gist?
In the end, other things, na Jara cos that slim girl you see today fit orobo tomorrow.
