No matter how wealthy that father is, he'd never grant such request.
This is how God also deals with us.
There are things or times we've prayed, prayed and prayed some more but it seems there's no answer to our requests and sometimes we even get angry at God but truth is, we never know what an alternative response will become to us.
It's a fundamental truth that no loving father will withhold any good thing from a child he loves.
So when we pray and it's all silent, it might even be a reason for Thanksgiving.

That job, that promotion, and other things you're seeking for, even trying to be in good terms with some persons but it's not working, might just be God saving you.
