Take that leap

Some years back, I was in a church in Abakaliki and there was this exceptional musician in the church, he had a good voice, was a maestro on the keyboard and he could direct the choir but he was not recognised by the leadership of the church - even worst, he was despised.

Then there was another young chap who joined the church, he was a musical genius and was not just a good instrumentalist but had a flair for directing the choir and bringing out the best in every member who was ready to learn.

The first chap was despised, the second was honored. Now the first chap even released a single but was not recognized by the church. After a while he left the church as well as the town and moved to Abuja.

As events will unfold, he found himself at the headquarters of a big church, not so long he joined the choir, was given trainings both in Nigeria and in different countries and at present he is a high flier, getting invitations to minister in different churches, living the best life he can and most importantly, being honored everywhere.

The first chap who was honored initially was later disdained by the same leadership of the church and was even expelled by the church for what the church termed insurbordination - which was attending the wedding of one of his choir members.

Is it possible that the place you are currently at which you are so comfortable in is stopping you from flying high like an eagle?

Are you being troubled in your office or do you feel like where you are is fighting you? It is possible that you have outgrown the place and you need to take a leap.

Just let go and let God - Psalms 91:11-12 says God will give his Angels charge over you. Have faith. Take that leap of faith today.
